What is an industrial steel building?
As the name suggests, an industrial steel building is a (usually temporary) building used in the industrial sector. By definition, a building built in solid construction could certainly also be included, but companies generally focus on lean processes and opt for lightweight construction. This also has the advantage that a corresponding building can be rented instead of purchased, thus reducing costs to a considerable extent.
In terms of dimensions, an industrial steel building offers heights of six meters and more, and is thus also available in multi-storey form. The area amounts to several hundred square meters, and here too there are various types of buildings. The construction is modular, so that both extensions and deconstruction are feasible. Another advantage is the integration of each industrial steel building into the existing infrastructure of a company. Why not build an extension directly adjacent to an existing building? Or make clever use of an open space? The possibilities are endless.
